Cape May Beach

The city of Cape May is right on Cape May Beach, which is often cited as one of the best in the country. Although the beaches in Cape May City seem to have different names, the beach is all one connected area that runs two miles parallel to Beach Avenue. Visitors can partake in activities like swimming, skimboarding, fishing, kayaking, volleyball, sand sculpting, and more (please note not every location allows every activity). Daily lifeguarding services and beach cleaning operations offer convenience and cleanliness.

Sunset Beach

Sunset Beach is a popular nearby beach in Lower Township that boasts unique glistening pebbles known as “Cape May Diamonds” and the SS Atlantus, an offshore shipwreck. Since it’s not in Cape May City, you don’t need a beach tag. You can also explore the gift shops, food, mini golf, and other amenities the area has to offer.
