COVID19 UPDATE FROM OCEAN CLUB HOTEL

Cape May Ocean Club from Cape May Beach

The Ocean Club Hotel is delighted to welcome guests back to our property. The health and safety of our guests is our top priority, and we have created a plan to give our guests peace of mind during these uncertain times.

Some key points to our process include (but are not limited to):

  • Guests are required to wear face coverings in all indoor common areas (e.g. hallways, lobby, etc.)
  • Enhanced staff training on social distancing, cleanliness, and sanitation
  • All staff are required to have their temperature monitored and to wear face coverings during shifts
  • Gloves will be worn by all staff handling food or entering guest rooms
  • All public areas, such as elevators and restrooms, will be sanitized constantly throughout the day
  • Plexiglass separation at our front desk
  • Signage encouraging social distancing throughout the hotel
  • Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at every entrance, as well as on every floor of the hotel
  • Implementation of new and improved cleaning procedures utilizing disinfectants known to be effective against bacteria and viruses
  • Improved procedures for social distancing by the pool and on the beach, including 6 foot spacing and sanitation
  • We will continue to monitor state and local guidelines and make any updates necessary.

  • Signage will be posted around the hotel, encouraging our guests to follow social distancing guidelines. Guests will be required to wear masks in public areas such as the lobby, hallways, etc.

SeaSalt Restaurant

SeaSalt Restaurant and Tiki Ten35 Bar will adhere to state and city guidelines regarding indoor / outdoor dining.

The Pool

Seating around the pool will be available, and we will be adhering to all social distancing guidelines. Chairs will be properly spaced apart and sanitized. Further policies will be put in place as we receive more information from state and local officials.

Beaches

The Ocean Club Hotel will still be providing full beach service to our guests. Chairs and towels will be complimentary, and seating will be six (6) feet apart. Beach umbrellas are available for rent. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available on the beach and served by restaurant staff wearing gloves and masks.

Check-in and Check-out

Due to COVID-19, our check-in will be moved to 4 p.m. and our check-out will be moved to 11 a.m. Our staff requires extra time to ensure proper cleaning and sanitation for the safety of our guests.

Cancellation Policy

While open, the Ocean Club Hotel will be enforcing the normal cancellation policy. If you believe your situation is deserving of exception, please call the hotel directly so we can better assist you.

While we can do our best to minimize the risk of contracting Covid19, this is a pandemic, and Covid19 is highly infectious. Please note, we cannot make guarantees as to guest health, and all guests visiting with us expressly accept the risks inherent with travel during this time.
